Rebranding

Established in 1974, Interflight is one of the most experienced and respected private jet operators in Europe.

We were asked to help reposition and differentiate the business amongst its competitors, help clarify the offer with its clients, and ultimately, build a strong brand that’ll be recognised as the benchmark for business aviation.

Following a comprehensive strategic assessment, one of the most persuasive findings was that whether it’s carrying out a complicated relief mission, taking a client to an important business meeting or even servicing an aircraft, Interflight’s clients are safe in the knowledge that whatever is asked, it will be handled with the minimum of fuss and to the highest standard possible. With that in mind we developed a brand proposition of ‘trust us to deliver’, as it encapslated the idea that if you want a job doing properly, then there is no subsitute.

Our inspiration for the identity came whilst looking at a departures sign in Gatwick Airport, where we thought the iconic plane symbol looked like a letter ‘F’ on its side. The International Civil Aviation Organisation is responsible for all the airline designators which are essential to air navigation. Interflight’s is IFT – it’s part of their DNA. Our solution cleverly replaced the ‘F’ in Interflight’s call sign with a stylised plane and bespoke typography completed the identity.

In an attempt to differentiate themselves from the imagery commonly seen in the sector, Interflight’s unique perspective is illustrated through a series of stunning images of the earth from the air. They’re supplemented by a narrative that uses ‘highly’ as an adverb to reinforce the way they go over and above to deliver a level of service that no others can match.
