Brand development
Build Africa is a charity that transforms education and livelihoods in rural Africa.
They believe that a good education can have a huge impact on the quality of life of children and the communities they support.
We were engaged to help them refresh their identity to coincide with the their biggest fundraising event of the year – the Build Africa Ball.
The story we presented was based on the idea that “sharpness” was symbolic of good education and of the work the charity did. The identity brought that thought to life with a pencil shaving that embraced the shape of Africa in the middle.
Tickets for the ball sold out in record time and fundraising smashed all previous records!
